Biofuels USA: maritime trade & transport
(Greenwich, Connecticut)
This one-day intensive event focuses on the growing
importance of the biofuels industry on the maritime sector.
As the demand for bioenergy increases, so does the need to move
the associated raw materials and refined products efficiently
- and that largely means by sea. This US based event provides
an update on the global bioenergy industry and relates that
to opportunities for the maritime sector. It will look specifically
at opportunities for the US international market in terms of
trade with Latin America, Asia and Europe as well as domestic
coastal and inland shipping. Ports, terminals and storage will
also be discussed along side the emerging regulatory framework,
pricing and trading mechanisms and a look to the future. There
will be plenty of opportunity to network with leading industry
representatives.
This event will be the definitive maritime biofuels
conference to be held in the US in 2008.
